House De Mama
As the mind
turns... yes, this sketch was the first
in a line of home sketches for the Earthmama.
She's changed the floorplans a number
of times, and now, the house has gone
from a full-fledged home to a rennovation
of the existing barn. Who knows where
it will go next....?
This sketch is freehand on Strathmore
paper with archival ink. Approximate dimensions:

Fear and Loathing in Fear
drawn on 11-04-2003
Non-stop, writing,
thinking, then elaborating more. Today
I have written more about politics that
my whole life combined I think. A friend
sent an e-mail that was atrocious... the
link went to a webpage made by two ex-Marines.
Alread, we have prejudice. It rambled
on and on about how 'terrorists' were
invited to come and enjoy Club Gitmo -
as they called it - short for Guantanamo.
That doesn't seem so bad, but considering
the pictures they used on the site - they
clearly made American asses out of themselved.

Border
Nothing more
than a border. A border to hold other

concept.

Lit 2 POP - universal vision
Another mind
fcuk... Yes, I spelled the last word incorrenctly!
So, there's a lot going on here in this
piece. My thoughts were, well, let's see
if you can pick them out....
- the world as
a very fragile place in very fragile
times.
- flames on the
outside of Earth - southern California
is on fire right now.
- firecracker
that's a zipper - the world's population
is growing exponentially - it's going
to pop. (( STOP - janes addiction ))
- the dark space
void near the bottom is all about space
as the new frontier, computer's plugged
in + the addition of shadow people.
These people relate the spiritual to
the scientific - the fact that scientists
just found that over 96% of our universe
is created by 'dark matter'. Further,
scientists haven't figured out what
'dark matter' is - which is why they
call it 'dark'... they only know it
exists because of the gravity fields
which surround the areas of 'darkness'.
- the computer
symbolizes the world's interconnection
between all parts of Earth's human population
and the information of science - escalating
understanding of the universe and what
may be out there...
- LIT 2 POP (likens
the 2 ball in Billiards to the Earth
in our galaxy)
- the mighty
mushroom atop was where I drew this
garbled mess
- the happy face
and crossbones (or nodes) to symbolize
today, now, the current of life. Will
be my new stamp...
