SPare Your TeleVision
Ah... the mantra...
Let's just say that my frustrations with
current society are all summed up in this
beast of graphical consciousness. You'll
note that there's a devil holding a sign
- a word at the bottom that reads "hypnoteyes",
a couple televisions, a radio tower, a
large 'think tank' fueling a large sleeping
skull, and then a play on words with 'The
Great Wal - of - McArt'
- a blend of the legendary Great Wall
of China, Wal-Mart (who
just got busted for hiring illegal immigrants)
and McDonalds (a corporation
recently sued for putting opiates in their
meat, thus creating an addictive plumping
source that fattens the unsuspecting public;
BTW there are 4X the amount of overweight
Americans now that there were in the late
1980's)... of course the cycle prepetuates
itself over and over, usually ending and
beginning each day with a heaping dose
of television. Mind control for America.

kajen stomp
This piece
was for Earthmama's party on November
7th, 2003 - the day before the Harmonic
Concordence - a very spiritual time...
a very unique time. I began this drawing
yesterday, finished it this morning -
the color comes in waves.... can't explain
it. Enjoy....

mellow sketch
These pieces
are turning into final works instead of
just sketches, but whatever the case,
they are here - in color - on the internet.
While sketching a logo for a dive company,
I got off track with the sketch above.
I think I was talking politics with friends
at the restaurant during this one.

sketch of the dreadlocks
Sketching once
again, interesting conversation with a
cool dude who lived in Humboldt County,
California last year. He actually protested
the recent War of Iraq by dropping out
of society, then found his way to northern
California where he lived in the forest,
protecting old growth trees from Pacific
Lumber. He told me about all the tricks
the lumber company used to overstep their
bounds, allowing them to harvest trees
that are protected by law... it was a
very interesting story.
